First piece of art in a while! and It's for Boribaby's adopties, I"m really proud of it, and thought he was perfect! for a new story that I'm working on, and hoping to post on fanfiction.net!

Gender: Male

Age: 4 ½ years

Personality: Friday is described as being a stubborn yet one of the most calm horses in the NYPD Mounted Unit. A crowd of noisy New Yorkers, a gun shot and even sirens, doesn't faze him, in fact it excites him. At first Friday is somewhat weary of his riders, and takes a few weeks for him to warm up to a new rider. However, once he grows familiar to a rider, he becomes friendly, playful and fiercely loyal. Like all horses from the NYPD, Friday was named after a deceased member of the NYPD, Detective Johnathon Friday.

Background: (Takes place in the Law & Order: Criminal Intent Universe)
Born on an Amish Farm, Friday—called Adam as a foal, was meant to grow up and pull buggies. It was a quiet life, in his early months spent on the farm, until when he was 6 months he was stolen in the night. For two years, Friday grew up with different names, between farms and amateur racing. Finally, at 2 years old, Friday was taken in by the NYPD after a retired Captain found him on a small horse farm. Compared to the other horses, Friday was huge, standing at 20 hands high with powerful legs.
Taken, trained, and named Friday, the young horse was given a rider named Julia Cheng, an experienced horse back rider, and young patrol officer (Nearly lost her arm in a gas station shootout four years prior). After a rocky start, the pair were inseparable, due to Julia's horse sense and a pack of unofficial sugar cubes. Mostly doing night patrols around Central Park, and the few events that lead to riots, Friday and Julia have led a somewhat uneventful partnership in the last 2 years. Friday is completely loyal to his rider, and eventually they become the most revered partnerships in the Mounted Unit.
With seven years under her belt as a both police officer, and a rider Julia wants to grow into rank. Given the chance to by the Chief of Ds, to go undercover in a case of missing horses of the NYPD. A simple assignment on paper, that hopefully will get her name recognized by the Brass she enthusiastically jumps at the chance.
Julia and Friday enter a darkened world, of betrayal and blood shed, that nearly takes them both. In New York City's War on Crime, the worst criminal offenders are investigated by the detectives of the Major Case Squad, these are the untold stories.
